Customer-centric cruise experience

TAP Air Portugal has new functions, but it does not have to be changed to make the travel experience even more individual and to meet the diverse needs of passengers – from comfort and relaxation to access to digital services.

The airline now offers new travel kits on long-haul flights, free access to PressReader via the onboard Wi-Fi portal, and a 'Skip Meal' option, allowing customers to indicate in advance that they wish to forgo their onboard meal. In addition, a new service for baggage collection, storage, and delivery is available through a partnership with Luggit.

"The Blaze"

TAP's new travel kits are now available to Business and Economy Prime passengers on the airline's long-haul flights. The new collection, named 'The Blaze', features a bold design, new contents, and a stronger focus on sustainability and Portuguese identity, and is available in various color combinations associated with Portugal.

The new bag is made of recycled materials and is inspired by Portuguese craftsmanship. The functionality and elegance and appearance of the brand identity of TAP are reflected.

The redesign of the travel sets also includes the introduction of new products from Portuguese companies. New additions include socks from Pedemeia, a Portuguese family business specializing in textile production, and wellness and body care products from 8950, a brand inspired by the landscapes and scents of the Algarve.

The new collection also contains recycled materials in several components, from the bag to the lining, as well as accessories made from sustainably sourced materials, such as the bamboo toothbrush and the kraft paper packaging.

Digital Library with newspapers and magazines

TAP can be found in any year, and a digital library with newspapers and magazines can be accessed on board Airbus A330-900 and Airbus A321LR aircraft. The new service is operated by passengers; the aircraft's WLAN portal can be accessed by national and international newspapers and magazines without having to purchase an internet package. The catalog includes content from the areas of general news, business, travel, technology, sports, lifestyle, and entertainment, and contains titles from Portugal, Brazil, and the United States, among others.

To use the service, passengers simply need to connect their personal device to the aircraft's Wi-Fi network, log in to TAP's in-flight entertainment system, and select the 'PressReader' section, where they can browse the available titles directly on their device. PressReader offers access to TAP lounges in Lisbon and Paris, where you can view the selection and represents a further step towards enhancing the digital experience for passengers during their journey.

SkipMeal and Luggit

TAP also allows you to select the 'Skip Meal' option for your passenger, if you have the time. The request can be made on the airline's website via the 'Manage Booking' option or in the TAP app under 'Select Meal', allowing customers to indicate in advance that they do not wish to receive a meal on board.

These preferences are stored in the airline's system and are subject to personal flight control once passengers are identified, but they do not guarantee the meal service we can manage. The new functions are designed to meet the needs of customers who value rest on long-haul flights, while also contributing to a more personalized service and reducing food waste.

Furthermore, TAP's new partnership with Luggit now offers a solution that allows customers to travel more conveniently. The service requires passengers to travel on flights from Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona, and Athens. It allows passengers to request the collection, storage, and delivery of their luggage at departure and/or at their destination, with collection or delivery possible at the airport, hotel, home, or another location of the customer's choice. So if you are traveling in the fortified city, you should know that the road is on the road and that it is on the road.
