ITA Airways schedules additional flights to and from Delhi on 24 and 25 March
Supporting the return of Italian nationals stranded due to the conflict in the Middle East
Rome, 17 March 2026 – ITA Airways has scheduled two additional frequencies between Rome Fiumicino and Delhi on 24 and 25 March.
This decision follows reports received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, with which the Company is in constant contact, regarding the high number of Italian nationals temporarily stranded in India due to the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on the region’s airspace and airport hubs.
Below are the schedules of the two additional flights departing from Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and arriving in Delhi (DEL):
- the first, on 24 March, will depart at 17:40 (Italian time) and land in the Indian capital at 05:55 (local time);
- the second, on 25 March, will depart at 17:35 (Italian time) and land in the Indian capital at 05:35 (local time).
Below are the schedules of the two additional flights departing from Delhi and arriving at Rome Fiumicino:
- the first, on 25 March, will depart from DEL at 08:25 (local time) and land at FCO at 13:00 (Italian time);
- the second, on 26 March, will depart from DEL at 07:35 (local time) and land at FCO at 11:55 (Italian time).

Subject to developments in the geopolitical situation in the region, ITA Airways continues to operate its direct services to Asia and is also assessing opportunities to strengthen its flight schedule in order to help facilitate the return of Italian nationals currently in the area.
